The CHED scholarship 2026 is a financial Assistance program by the commission on Higher education (CHED) in the philippines,this scholarship is a full-funded program aim to improve and support the quality of education of college students

The CHED recently made an announcement on opening of CHED scholarship program for it’s eligible filipino students for the AY 2025-2026 it is a government scholarship program aimed to support talented students in the country

What Is CHED scholarship?

The CHED scholarship program is a government funded program aimed in supporting student’s on their education, who belongs to the follow group:

1.(RA 729)– underprivileged and homeless citizens
2.(RA 7277)– person with disability
3.(RA 8371)– solo parents or their dependents

CHED scholarship program is program is now accepting applicants of all the interesting and eligible incoming freshmen who continue to study in the CHED recognized priority programs:
(SUCs) state universities and colleges,
(LUCs) local universities and college,
(HEIs) private higher education institution,
can apply for these scholarship program

Step-By-Step Details on CHED Merit Scholarship Program

CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP)

The CHED Merit Scholarship Program For Academic Year 2025-2026 is Now Open TO Apply For all the incoming first year college students in the filipino

CHED Scholarship will receive benefits of full half scholarship under the student financial assistance programs (StuFAPs).those who are enrolled in CHED priority courses Recognized are welcome to apply for this scholarship

CHED Requirements To Apply

Applicants must be a filipino citizen.
must be graduating high school students
(GWA) general weighted average for full merit scholarship program must be at least 96% or to it’s equivalent.
(GWA) general weighted average foe Half Merit Scholarship Program Must be at-least 93% or to it’s equivalent.
For those who enroll in the courses as mention in the list of CHED priority program.
For those who belong to the special group of person such as:
- (RA 7279) – underprivileged and homeless citizen
- (RA 7277) – person with disability
- (RA 8371) – solo parents or their dependents
must not have any other active scholarship program or any government funded scholarship

CHED Documentary Requirements

True copy of birth certificate
Must have a high school report card for incoming freshmen students and certified true copy of grades for grade 11 and for 1st semester grade 12 for graduating high school students.
Income tax return from parents /guardian .
If not under tax filling – tax exemption form bureau of internal revenue (BIR)
Copy of certificate from indigence either form barangay or DSWD.
Other valid documents if required

For Students Under FULL PESFA – YEARLY will receive a total benefits of PHP 120,000
Given as follows:

Tuition and other school fees of – PHP 40,000.
Stipend of – PHP 70,000.
book and Connectivity allowance – PHP 10,000.

Full PESFA – Semestral Benefits

For students under Full PESFA – Semestral will receive a total Benefits os PHP60,000,
Given as follows

Tuition and other school fees of – PHP 20,000.
Stipend of – PHP 35,000.
Book And Connectivity Allowance – PHP 5,000

Half PESFA – Yearly Benefits

For students under Half PESFA – Yearly Will receive a total benefits of PHP 60,000
Given as follows

Tuition and other school fees of – PHP 20,000.
Stipend of – PHP 35,000
Book and connectivity allowance – PHP 5,000

Half PESFA – Semestral Benefits

For students under Half PESFA – Semestral will receive a total benefits of PHP 30,000

For student’s under Full SSP – yearly will receive a total benefits of PHP 80,000

Book and connectivity allowance – PHP 10,000

Full SSP – Semestral Benefits

For students under full SSP – Semestral will receive a total benefits of PHP 40,000
Given as follow :

Tuition and other school fees – Free
Stipend of – PHP 35,000.
Book and connectivity allowance – PHP 5,000

Half SSP – Yearly Benefits

For students under Half SSP – yearly will receive a total benefits of PHP 40,000
Given as follows:

Stipend of – PHP 35,000
Book and connectivity allowance – PHP 35,000

For students under Half SSP – semestral will receive a total benefits of PHP 20,000
